This year has indeed been a very tough one for all of us because of the pandemic, the lockdown, and its repercussions on the economy. However, regardless of the special circumstances of 2020, The Cooperative Logistics Network has managed to accomplish most of our objectives and have continued to support our members in more than one way. This is why before the year ends we have compiled a list of the Coop’s performance in 2020- keep reading to stay updated with the achievements of the Cooperative Logistics Network.
An increased outreach with 300+ members:
The Cooperative Logistics Network surpasses 300 members from 130 countries across the five continents thus opening up new cities to do business in. This would never have been possible without our member-oriented approach, emphasis on mutual cooperation, financially secure environment, strict selection process, and the wide array of online tools The Coop makes available for our members.
A successful Online Conference:
Given the special circumstances of 2020, The Cooperative had to postpone our plans for a group meeting at Phuket. However, to make up for the loss of this networking opportunity, our team worked relentlessly to organize the Coop’s 1st Virtual Meeting which was conducted over our exclusive meeting platform created by our IT team. The online conference was attended by more than 130 freight forwarders who got together on one platform at one time from 4th to 5th November to carry on with the much-needed business discussions to increase their flow of businesses.
FreightViewer:
The Coop’s member-exclusive TMS FreightViewer has been improved considerably in the last one year. Loads of new features have been added to this online tool which will eventually integrate the main co-loaders buying tariffs on an international scale into FreightViewer. The Cooperative has signed an agreement with SHIPCO to make available their LCL buying rates online through FreightViewer.
Presently The Coop is also negotiating an agreement with WEBCARGONET so that The Coop can upload and update over 14 million buying airfreight rates to the software. Moreover, our partnership with Onus Cargo Services- an insurance broker offering rates from various insurance companies will permit the agents to ensure their cargo directly through FreightViewer. In other words, FreightViewer is a super useful digital tool that will greatly reduce your office workload and can be availed without spending a single dime.
Online company brochure
The Coop has put together a professional and sophisticated online company brochure, that members can customize in order to enhance their brand image of the member companies. It is an effective marketing tool that will boost the corporate identity of our agents.
A new blog section in the Coop’s website
The Coop’s Blog has been created to keep the members up to date with all the latest trends and news from the supply chain sector as well as from our network.
2021 is about to start and The COop team looks forward to a healthy, happy, prosperous, and productive 2021. Wishing all of you the very best for the coming year!
