Kopf & Lübben GmbH, a founding member of The Cooperative Logistics Network in Bremen, Frankfurt & Hamburg, Germany, has successfully secured a key logistics contract, working in partnership with fellow Coop member La-Mama d.o.o. in Koper / Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The collaboration involves the transportation of approximately 160 x 40 HC containers of solar panels from Koper, Slovenia, to Austria for the construction of a solar park.”We are excited to collaborate with our network partner La-Mama d.o.o. to ensure the seamless handling of this project,” said Johan Padding, Managing Director of Kopf & Lübben GmbH. “This marks a significant expansion in our customer’s import routes, as they have traditionally relied on Rotterdam and Hamburg. Now, Koper is emerging as a strategic entry point for their solar module imports.”

La-Mama d.o.o. is providing essential on-ground support, including unpacking, customs clearance, and reloading the shipments onto trucks for final delivery. To strengthen their cooperation, Kopf & Lübben’s import specialists, Anja Krüger, Manager Ocean Import in Bremen, and Maika Guevara, Administrator Ocean Import, recently traveled to Koper to meet with Aleš Mikac, owner of La-Mama d.o.o., and his team.

The visit allowed them to review logistics operations firsthand and fine-tune project details.”The warm welcome we received from Aleš Mikac and his team made it clear that this is the beginning of a strong and successful partnership,” said Krüger. “Seeing the local operations firsthand reinforced our confidence in the efficiency of this supply chain.” With the project running smoothly, Kopf & Lübben GmbH hopes to secure more tenders of this nature, further strengthening its logistics capabilities in the renewable energy sector.

Congratulations to Kopf & Lübben and La-Mama d.o.o. for this successful collaboration and here’s to many more productive partnerships!
