Pt. Prime Freight Indonesia has just launched a cold storage at the 1st port of Indonesia

The strategic location of the cold storage facility is expected to enormously boost time and cost efficiency

The new cold storage facility of Pt. Prime Freight, a Coop member in Denpasar and Jakarta, sprawls over a space of 2,880 square meters and comes with an ante room, a chiller room and a frozen room. It is one of the most sophisticated cold storage of the region which makes use of the most up to date temperature control system, convenient equipment and the safest security measures. The cold storage will be made available for fruits, flowers, dairy items and meat products.

In the words of Michelle Lee, President Director of Pt. Prime Freight Indonesia: “One of the prime advantages of our new cold storage facility is its strategic location. It is just 3 km from the Cikarang Dry Port, 45 Km from Jakarta Seaport, 75 Km from Jakarta Airport and 750 Km from the Surabaya City.” She further added that “We have come up with the most effective cold storage solutions in order to meet all sorts of individual requirements by the customers.”

The power of teamwork between Coop members leads to a successful cooperation shipment

A Coop member in Hamburg and a Coop member in Koper teamed up to competently deliver two new vehicles

 

Con-Truck Shipping GMBH- Coop member in Hamburg, Germany, and Globus Shipping Agency Ltd- Coop member in Koper, Slovenia, worked together to successfully ship two new Toyota Land Cruisers from Koper to Caucedo. Con-Truck took care of the sea freight via the CMA CGM shipping line while the trucking and stuffing of the container was arranged by Globus in cooperation with the Port of Koper.

Globus was also in charge of organising for the customs clearance in Slovenia. Both the parties are rather contented with the success of their cooperation shipment and are looking forward to more partnership ventures in the future.

Sealand Logistics, Coop Gdynia/Gdansk, merges with the oldest freight forwarders of Poland- C.Hartwig

C. Hartwig takes over all of the business liabilities and assets of Sealand Logistics

The process of merging C. Hartwig Gdynia with Sealand Logistics- a young and rapidly expanding company – began in the last quarters of 2017. Since then, they optimized the structures of both the organizations to make the most out of their combined potential and now they are able to provide better rates and services than ever before.

 

The outstanding performance in the freight forwarding sector delivered by the two companies will be maintained by their dedicated and experienced employees. The scope of Sealand’s services as FCL, LCL, air, road, rail, and project cargo was enlarged by the more specialized C.Hartwig’s projects such as their own warehouse, fair logistics and bulk shipping projects. Formally, the merger has been written down in Polish Court Registry System on 2nd Jan 2018 after which they will continue as C.Hartwig.

 

In the words of Radek Januszczak, Network Development Manager, “This merger has been a very significant step forward for C. Hartwig and we expect that it will provide the company’s customers and partners with the benefit of joint experience, higher organisational culture and more efficient operation. Consequently, it will guarantee the improvement of service efficiency enabling us to achieve more tangible results in the future.”

C-Log worldwide transports a shipment of massive dimensions from The Netherlands To Doha

The Coop Rotterdam recently moved 2 pieces of 14,300 Kg shipment in total

C-Log Worldwide, Coop member in Rotterdam once again proves their worth by successfully delivering a gigantic shipment from Etten-Leur (The Netherlands) to Doha. The 2 pieces of shipment which weight a whopping 14,300 Kg has a dimension of 10.00 x 2.35 x 4.08 meters.

 

The shipment was transferred from Etten-Leur to Rotterdam port in low loader trucks. In Rotterdam the cargo had been lashed, secured and shrink wrapped onto 2 x 40 feet flat rack containers by their dedicated lashing company. Finally, the containers were moved from the lashing company to export terminal by barge before being shipped off to Doha.

 

We are really happy with the achievements of our member in Rotterdam and we wish C-Log the very best for the future!
