KRS Logistics undertakes the transportation of 27,000 tonnes drilling pipes projects from Singapore to the Middle East

They have completed the 1st vessel in March 2023 and the remaining 2 shipments will be sent during June and August respectively

KRS Logistics LLC, a Coop member in Dubai, UAE, is handling the movement of 27,000 tonnes of drilling pipes for a leading oil drilling company in the Arabian Gulf. The project consists of 3 charter vessels of which one has already been sent in March 2023. They will move the remaining 2 shipments during June and August respectively.

The pipes have a diameter of 30” & 24”,  a length of 14.50 meters, and weigh 4 to 8 MT each. The pipes which come from Korea are stored in Singapore and delivered to the threading factory on a daily basis.  On completion of 1000 pipes, KRS Logistics charters a vessel to Middle East for delivery.

“We have been continuously working on drilling pipes projects since 2016 and therefore we are confident about pulling off this shipment flawlessly,” says Shibu George, the CEO of KRS Logistics LLC.

The scope of the project includes receiving the cargo at the Jurong Port in Singapore, storing it at their contracted yard in Singapore, and delivering the plain end pipes to the threading factory. Finally, “we were responsible for collecting the threaded pipes back to the yard regularly, delivering them to the port when exporting, and arranging port handling, charter vessel and freight to the Middle East for delivery to the consignee”.

Coop member in Chennai Channel Freight Services ships an 85 ton cargo in a charter flight Mumbai to Brasilia

Channel Freight Services India Pvt Ltd, a Coop member in Chennai, India, has hauled a cargo of around 85 tons in a charter flight of Volga Dnepr Airline from Mumbai to Brasilia. The sheer dimension of the cargo necessitated the use of a flatbed trailer while transporting the cargo from the shipper’s location to Mumbai Airport.

The Channel Freight team had to be extra cautious with moving the cargo as the rainy season added to their challenges. In the words of Prashant Chaturvedi, the General Manager of Channel Freight Services, “We had to cover a very long distance from the shipper’s site to BOM airport that too while it was raining. The shipper placed data loggers in the cargo therefore we had to be even more careful. I would like to congratulate my team for pulling off this challenging project without a hitch.”

Qingdao Dowell International Logistics, a Coop member in Qingdao, China, has recently moved a shipment of fiber laser cutting machine from China to Australia. The company which operates in the city of Qingdao, provides export & import, FCL/LCL and special container transportation service in China, aiming to offer global supply chain solutions.

The steel structures and high-tech electronic cargo which was transported in flat rack containers were loaded at the port of Shanghai and shipped all the way to Australia. “Hauling these heavy lift cargoes from China to Australia has been a demanding task which was accomplished without a hitch, thanks to the hard work and professionalism of my team members. Qingdao Dowell International Logistics moves a heavy machine cargo from China to Vietnam

COOP Qingdao successfully delivered machinery by 40 Flat Rack

Qingdao Dowell International Logistics Co. Ltd. has recently transported a machine cargo on a 40 ft flatrack from Shanghai in China to Cat Lai in Vietnam. In order to handle this complex project cargo, they had to use one truck to load it. The cargo was picked up from the factory and delivered to Shanghai Port.
