Itinerary and Description

08:30: Pick-up from the hotel by bus

09:00: Visit Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

We will begin our trip with a visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a true masterpiece of Islamic architecture. Famous for its grand white marble domes, intricate designs, and serene atmosphere, the mosque is one of the largest in the world and a symbol of peace and spirituality.

10:30: Explore Yas Marina Circuit

Next, we will visit the world-renowned and exciting Yas Marina Circuit, home to Abu Dhabi’s Formula 1 Grand Prix.

12:45: Discover Heritage Village

After taking in the grandeur of the mosque, we will step back in time at Heritage Village, where you can explore a traditional oasis village and gain insights into the region's cultural history and Bedouin lifestyle to get a unique glimpse into Abu Dhabi's roots.

13:30: Lunch at Cristal Hotel Abu Dhabi

At midday, we’ll take a break with a delightful lunch at the Cristal Hotel Abu Dhabi, a stylish 4-star hotel known for its exceptional service and delicious cuisine.

15:00: Visit Qasr Al Watan

Our final stop is the stunning Qasr Al Watan, a palace that’s not only an architectural marvel but also a symbol of the UAE's rich heritage and governance. Then, kindly fill in the online form with your registration details if you have not done it before and select the option ‘Day trip’ when completing your registration to the Meeting.

Dress code

Mosques are revered places for Muslims, so you must follow a conservative dress style.

  • Ladies: Ankle-length trousers/dress/skirt and long-sleeved (wrist-length) tops. A headscarf is required to cover the hair. Any color is acceptable. An abaya (black dress) is not mandatory.
  • Men: Ankle-length trousers. T-shirts, polo shirts, and collared shirts are acceptable.
  • General Guidelines: No transparent clothing, shorts, beachwear, offensive slogans, or tight clothing. Security at the Grand Mosque reserves the right to approve or deny entry based on attire. Ladies not meeting the dress code will not be permitted to enter.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation policy for the trip are as follows:

Free Cancellation: 50% Cancellation Charge: 75% Cancellation Charge: Full Charge:

When the cancellation is made at least 1 month before the meeting.

If you cancel the trip 30 days before the Day Trip, a cancellation charge of 50% will apply.

If you cancel the trip 15 days before the Day Trip, a cancellation charge of 75% will apply.

Cancellations less than 15 days before the meeting will result in the entire amount being charged.

The registration and payment for the Day Trip must be done at least 15 days before 28th May 2025

For those agents who have applied and paid for the Priority Access, The One to One Meeting Scheduler will open on 23rd April. On 24th April for the rest of attendees. On this day, at 12:15 noon (Paris/Madrid time), delegates will receive an email with a link and personal login details to book their meetings for the event dates.

One-to-one meetings enhance the efficiency of meetings. Instead of spending weeks over emailing and video conferencing, hash out the details of your project within less than 20 minutes by sitting face-to-face with your partner.

Getting around Abu Dhabi is easy and taxis are reasonably priced and plentiful. They can be flagged down at the roadside, booked by phone through the TransAD hotline 600 535353 or via the Abu Dhabi Taxi app available for both iOS and Android platforms.

  • Distance from the hotel: 36km.
  • Travel Time: around 30-40 minutes.
  • Approximate costs: AED 70 - 80 (approx. €20), including a minimum flag fall of AED20 (approx. €5).
  • Luxury Taxi: available round-the-clock from Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
Dubai International Airport (DXB)
  • Distance from the hotel: 165km.
  • Route: Sheikh Zayed Road from Dubai into Abu Dhabi - In Abu Dhabi get on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street direct to the hotel.
  • Travel Time: around 2 hours.
  • Approximate costs: 329 AED (approx. €82.50).

Bus

There is a bus from the Abu Dhabi Airport to the City Center. The tickets are priced at AED 4 (€1), and the duration of a trip is around 45 minutes, depending on traffic. The service runs every 40 minutes, 24 hours a day. There are 5 lines that run from the airport. For more information on the exact drop off points, head to the official website. Kindly note that the bus stops are located outside all of the terminals.

It is the responsibility of all agents to check with their local UAE Embassies and Consulates how to apply for a VISA in UAE if required. This is just illustrative information, which was updated at the time of creating this text and may be changeable according to the Immigration laws of UAE.

Invitation letters

Should you be required to provide an invitation letter when applying for your VISA to United Arab Emirates, please download the invitation letter form.

Please, take into account:

  • An original passport (should not expire within six (6) months from the expected time of arrival to UAE).
  • A round-trip airline ticket or confirmed ticket to another destination.

Visa-free entry

Citizens of countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates) do not require a visa or permit or to be sponsored by a national or resident in the UAE. They need to produce their GCC country passport or national ID card at the point of entry into the UAE.

Visa on arrival (30-day visa)

Citizens of these countries do not require advance visa arrangements to enter the UAE and can obtain a visa upon arrival for 30 days with a 10-day grace period for extension.

New visit entry permit to the UAE for Indian nationals holding a normal passport and either:

  • a visit visa issued by the USA or
  • a green card issued by the USA or
  • a residence visa issued by the UK or
  • a residence visa issued by the EU

They can obtain a visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 14 days provided that the visas or the green card is valid for at least six months from the date of arrival into the UAE.

Other countries: apply for a visa prior to the trip

Citizens of all other countries will need to apply for an UAE tourist visa, transit visa or visit visa prior to their trip.

Requirement when applying for a visa:
  • Passport copy. Note: your passport must be valid for a minimum period of 6 months at the time of travel.
  • Colour copies of your passport bio page and last page, showing full name, nationality, date and place of birth, passport number, date of issue and expiry, the name of father / legal guardian, the name of mother, and other relevant information documented.
  • Confirmed return ticket travelling into Abu Dhabi Airport and onwards from Abu Dhabi.
  • Only ordinary passports will be accepted.
  • Photograph: 6x6cm (min 600x600 pixels), colour, white background, visible face (at least 80%)

Where to apply for a visa:

Check with the UAE embassy in your country before travelling to the UAE.

You can apply for a visa only through the below links:

Offline visa application can be done through typing centres registered by ICP or typing centres of GDRFA, where visa application is typed and processed through the GDRFA of the respective emirate. Upon approval, the sponsor will receive a message about the approval and the original entry permit.
